'In 2020 electronic musicians Beatrice Dillon, NKISI, Shackleton and LABOUR travelled to Dakar, Senegal to pay homage to the legacy of Doudou Ndiaye Rose through his griot family of master sabar players. This trip included musical and social exchange, recording throughout the capital and provided the basis for many musical exchanges including the Honest Jon’s releases. Curated and produced by studio LABOUR, Moe Sow MOREHUMAN, Outer/Berlin Atonal, Doudou Ndiaye Rose family, funded by Kulturstiftung des Bundes Germany, Dakar Biennial and Grand National Theater Doudou Ndiaye Coumba Rose.’
